CHESAPEAKEMAN RECEIVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION
March 2010 - Triathlete Magazine has listed Chesapeakeman as one of the top 10 Best UrBan Races.
The magazine says, "This was a tough category (10 Best UrBan races), in which to pick a winner. Urban races are logistical nightmares." Chesapeakeman's 2.6-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run is held annually in Cambridge, Md. The triathlon's 2010 date is Saturday, September 25th.
Local race organizer, Gerry Boyle says, "You will want to see this article in the most recent edition of Triathlete Magazine. ChesapeakeMan Ultra Distance has been listed in the top 10, 140.3 mile triathlons in the world. Last year, Eagleman (was) voted best 70.3 race by the same magazine, now this, ChesapeakeMan in the top 10 in the world!"
